Use your in-product message as the account-specific answer. If it shows a timestamp, convert that exact time; if it describes a rolling window, do not reinterpret it as a midnight reset.
Three patterns people call a reset
- Scheduled window
- A displayed future time when access or allowance changes.
- Rolling allowance
- Capacity becomes available as earlier usage leaves a window.
- One-off event
- An incident response, compensation or global policy action.
What this page does not reset
Password recovery, saved memories, conversation history and network errors each have different controls and support paths. A usage reset changes available capacity; it does not perform any of those account or troubleshooting actions.
Where Codex fits
